Ko'Kasi Hotspot describes itself as a "next-generation Wi-Fi and online solutions provider for businesses, venues, and communities." They are a youth-run startup that is looking to spread affordable internet access to townships in South Africa.

I paid them a visit to learn more about them and speak to some of their customers.

Founded in 2012 by Martin Letsie, Ko'Kasi Hotspot has grown from strength to strength to serve (currently) the Johannesburg (South Africa) township communities of Vosloorus and (parts of) Soweto with plans to expand across more townships across South Africa.

Watch the video to learn more about them and some thoughts from some of the customers I spoke to.
