Chris Irakoze, a programmer from Burundi, exposed a data breach KCB Bank's (Kenya) mobile app which exposed details of 500,000 customers. Irakoze first mentioned the data breach in September 2016.

Rwanda's proposed drone delivery service will initially deliver supplies to deliver medical supplies to five hospitals in the country's rural south-west, with plans to expand it to nearly half of the country's 45 hospitals.
