The three-time Premiership champions' jersey will prominently display the iKhokha brand thanks to a new sleeve sponsorship contract announced by SuperSport United FC and the payments technology company.
iKhokha, founded in 2012, provides payment solutions for small and medium-sized businesses through both online payment solutions and payment devices. Successfully challenging market competitors such as Yoco, Payfast, PayU, and SnapScan. iKhokha is certainly taking the fight one notch up.
This move is not surprising given that its newly hired Chief Growth Officer, Graeme Cumming, was previously the Head of Product at Multichoice, the parent company of SuperSport United. As Product Head, Cumming was involved with the launch and market of online streaming services, DStv Now, Box Office and Showmax across Africa.
Cumming recognizes the value of content and sport. The sponsorship will extend iKhokha's reach and keep audiences interested and captivated, perhaps leading to improved brand awareness, good brand associations, and sales.
“The partnership between iKhokha and SuperSport United represents a perfect match of shared values. We are thrilled to support a football team known for its drive and ambition – qualities we live and breathe every day in our quest to help entrepreneurs to start, grow and manage their businesses,” says Graeme Cumming, Chief Growth Officer at iKhokha.
