Nigeria Federal Government orders Internet Shutdown to fight Insurgency

The Nigerian Federal Government (FG) has instructed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to issue a directive to all mobile network operators in the northern state of Zamfara, to shut down mobile services for two weeks.

6 companies could possibly lose their operating licenses in Nigeria

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) could possibly suspend the operating licenses of 6 telecommunications companies. The companies are allegedly guilty of allowing call masking on their networks.
